Here's hoping the way things have been playing out that means the Sharks or Blues take it to the Bruins in 4. Preference being the Blues, with Alex Pietrangelo scoring in OT cutting in front of the net just before being tripped up.

This is revisionist history at its best. Not even a month ago, either. Game 1 in Washington, the Caps were up 3-0 in the first 10 minutes and the only reason the game wasn't a blowout was that our 19-year-old rookie scored two goals in the third. Game 2 in Washington was 2-0 at the 9:26 mark of the first. And that doesn't even take into consideration the 6-0 shellacking in Game 5 in Washington. We weren't competitive in Washington until Game 7.

As a matter of fact, there's *no* doubt in my mind we've looked *better* in these two games in Boston than we did in Games 1/2 in Washington.

I get that Mrazek is probably the biggest reason we're in the playoffs, let alone the ECF. But let's be real, he's been dreadful in the 4 periods of this series so far. He's not making the saves he's supposed to make, and he's also not making the saves he's not supposed to make. When you have a backup with equally good Regular Season stats who has been shown to step up his game in these playoffs, I think it would be foolish to not to give him some time to try and spark us.
