Galchenyuk should get a chance on the top line, at least to start things off. He's been clutch all year in OT and has been clutch in OT in the playoffs in the past.

I think this is our ideal lineup right now :

Pacioretty - Galchenyuk - Radulov
Byron - Plekanec - Gallagher
Lekhonen - Danault - Shaw
King - OTT - Martinsen

seconds before that goal, rangers dman broke his stick on whichever forward was in front. the zebras are a ****ing joke. rangers d-zone strategy: lundqvist and his crazy rebounds helped by crosscheck, tackles whatever it takes, in slot

It allowed Plekanec to score as Holden had no stick and couldn't tie him up

Julien did his best to make us lose. That Galchenyuk usage was an insult to coaching.

But hey, he is a liabilaty out there. Yeah right. That's how you give your players more confidence....by showing them how a liability you are....

I think it's the other way around, Galchenyuk earned his ice time tonight. He was on a mission since the beginning of the game, that's what Julien wants out of him on a nightly basis.

Just feeling that the momentum was finally turning the Habs way with the Rangers on the run

1-1 or 0-2 is such a big difference in a series.

Go Habs!

Every time Galchenyuk is out with Max and Radulov something happens, its pretty clear that the line should be reunited

We need a second line.

Lehkonen-Galchenyuk-Radulov
Pacioretty-Danault-Shaw
Byron-Plekanec-Gallagher
Ott-Mitchell-McCarron/Martinsen

Ice time as deserved for all lines.

I want King or Shaw to win it in OT just to shut up the haters.

Beaulieu wouldnt be a bad choice too. He needs to make up for his -3

Yeah, way to go CJ. All it took was us for to get shutout in game one...

Even experienced people can make mistakes; hopefully the Habs can salvage a win and Julien is man enough to learn from this mistake and stop trying to send a message. Against a team as equal to the Habs as the Rangers are, he can't afford to give them a significant advantage in the series. Send a message early in the season next year in games that don't matter, not in a tight playoff series where failure ends the entire season.

Exactly...He EARNED his icetime tonight, he forced the coaches hand

Would love to see either Max or Radu score to get them going
