I don't know much about Hudon's style but does he play a 200 foot game or is he strictly offense? It seems you need to be a 200 foot player to play for the Habs these days if you can put up points.

I get that requirement if you're a team like the Capitals who score at free will. But we struggle to not get shutout every game, ridiculous that a few of the youngsters in the AHL couldn't crack our lineup or at least be given a chance.

CJ should change up the lines.

Pacioretty isn't playing all that bad, but Danault (2nd game in a row) & Radulov (ditto) are not doing much.

Danault plays much better & contributes offensively further down the line-up.

I'd love to see a Lehkonen - Danault - Shaw line, but I doubt it happens.

Galchenyuk is playing a good game. He and Pacioretty should be together.

Definitely need to shorten our bench.

I think we'll have to collectively shut up about Price. He's getting outplayed by Lundqvist. Badly...

Uhh outplayed sure. Badly? If you for some reason call allowing 2 more goals on only 6 fewer shots being badly outplayed, yeah. But not many do. And the scoring chances have been fairly even too. Lundqvist has had to make just as many crazy saves as Price. He's dealing with a team that can't execute worth a **** on offence while Price is dealing with a thin D corps and the NHL's best regular season road team. I think Price is the last guy I'd call out right about now :shakehead

What does that even mean?? Taking it like a man is what exactly?? Not discuss decisions taken?

Of course—discuss decisions, complain about a line, whatever—but calling players "morons" or "gutless" is immature and a poor excuse for actually expressing a point of view.

EVERY time Patches is shown on the bench, he sits there quietly. I get that you're trying to zone in on the game, but he's wearing the C. Why is he not trying to motivate players on the bench? Gallagher is one of the few who actually seems to care

You're overrating him, he's a one dimensional sniper that disappears when the pressure is on and only generates offence off odd man rushes. Sucks ass on the PP too.

I think you're going a bit too far on the other extreme.

The most frustrating thing about Pacioretty in a game like this is that he'll be downright invisible/bad for 50 minutes, and then score the tying goal.

Yup CJ needs to shake things up. Galchenyuk needs to play with some talent. Give him Radulov or Pacioretty or both!

They have to win this.

How ****ing bad would it look on Bergevin making the movements and preaching what he has since he traded Subban about "going for it" only to get ousted in the 1st round?

He'll be gone as far as I'm concerned. People think Molson is super committed to him, but they said the same thing about Therrien. Forcing Bergevin to fire an idiot coach and playoffs failure a few months apart should be his demise.

He will lose what credibility he has left and any move he makes going forward will be laughed at until he is canned.
