Richards' results are affected by his team getting **** play from its goalie. Where is the 'fire Bob' talk?
Another thread i wrote yesterday about Bryzgalov 2.0
About Richards. We will soon have a series of eight games, seven of them on the road.
I guess if he will not be fired before, 06 november we still have very little chance make PO.

Anyone think the first 2 games determine the whole season :naughty:

No but it does give a strong indication that issues from previous years were not addressed.

1. Inability to prevent the opposing team from scoring approximtely 1 minute after scoring a goal.
2. The lack of defensive discipline to stop running around like a chicken with its head cut off to prevent the blow ups that lead to the quick goal flurries of the other teams.

Hopefully, tonight we see why Foligno was named Captain!

Might have been the wrong appointment if he doesn't find notable primal side from himself. No more mister nice guy, please.

Good thing to pick from the loss is that lines are likely to get shuffled. Fourth line has shown (besides the brilliant Hartnell) the best offensive structure so far.

Another loss, two loss in a row.
Richards confidently goes to my forecast, 4-9-1 start season.

The team has 72 shots in 2 games, you do realize its Lundqvist in the other net right? You know, the best goalie by far of the past 10 or more years? These comments are getting so stupid. What is Richards supposed to do, strap the ****ing pads on and jump in net himself?

Just finished the dvr'd game.

So the beginning is as important as the ending. Tyutin with the start to the Rags 3 goal flurry. Has there been any mention of a suspect defensive group for the CBJ at all?

Golo has to slot in for Prout. Unfotunately there may not be a suitable callup to play with Golo to round out the third pair. Falk? Paliotta?

Jarmo better not be sleeping too good these past couple of nights, a healthy Murray doesn't mean **** for the two other pairs.

Hope whoever the Sabres start in net tomorrow doesn't have a Lundquist type outing.

Unbridled faith in Richards so stupid. He is always something interferes : injuries, Bryzgalov 2.0, Lundpads, rags, bad luck, fail players, and so on...
At the exit, we have no play-off.

This is ridiculous. What's Foligno going to do, yell at Prout and Connauton and suddenly make them competent hockey players? It's on Jarmo if he doesn't give TR, and Foligno and the rest of the leadership core, a halfway decent d-core to work with.

I can appreciate the consistency in your posts, but damned if I've yet to see any specifics on what Richards is actually not doing, or doing incorrectly.

Johansen has 1 and 1 so far against one of the best D-pairing in the league. I'll take 82 points out of him.

He's not the problem.

Come on, you know how important it is that we single out a few scapegoats any time something goes wrong.

Inspire and motivate. Keep the team from collapsing. The captain could do his part in that.

Of course it's early days.

I'm not seeing a lack of motivation on our team. These guys are dialed in, skating hard, and sacrificing the body constantly. I'm seeing a skills deficit on one half of the ice. There's nothing Nick Foligno can say to fix that.

A loss is 100% Richards and a win is the teams will beating out Richards attempt to make the team suck

Well, thank God Boston has given up 10 goals to our 9, otherwise we would be in a very familiar spot, 15th in the East.

Seriously, I don't think that continues, but damn, I don't care who we played, the 9 goals against in 2 games is awful.

Win the team, loss the coach. In USSR and Russia always said only so.

 yep. "Was, is, and will be"

But I like this point of view that HCTR is innocent Agnes of God  Our F Corp is ok, Bob on another side trying his best to win. It's not secret that psychics of any G is very thin substance, Serge is not exception . First goal makes him nervous causing panic and slump, Serge's problem that he is perfectionist living with dream about shoutout in every game. How team can help him? Right, good D play without stupid turnovers and mistakes. This is HC job to think about D combinations and rotations, not ours, not Kekalainen's. Now D is our Achilles heel, third D pair is catastrophic and dangerous, Tyutin's level downgraded to 3 pair.

PS
I can't say that I am a huge fan of Bob, IMHO ( we had big and difficult discussion on russian CBJ board one year ago) better alternative two young perspective G with healthy competition between them >> than Bob and not competitive backup combo without inner competition. Plus saved money you can invest in Defence. BTW now it's useless discussion after Bob's contract was extended. Trying to live in the present

I took tomorrow off because I've been busy all weekend, I'm going to post up at a bar and watch the game.

Fingers crossed. Is Bob mentally fragile?

I'd be really curious what you think Richards can do about our D core. From my perspective, not much with the meager parts Jarmo has given him.

I don't understand how you can both identify the defense as our Achilles Heel and then put it on HCTR to rectify that. He doesn't build the roster.

To major's point, I give jarmo a pass for diagnosing the problem and a fail for addressing it. And the entire league knew it was a problem.

Still, it's early and that goalie was unstoppable last night. I have lost zero hope.

I understand having totally irrational opinions about players (dammit Joey) but I choose not to publicly showcase my irrational thought. Maybe our Todd Richards hater needs to invoke a bit of self discipline, eh?

Don't forget its an afternoon game so your thirst should be well quenched by dinnertime. Enjoy. I'm thinking of listening to my game center live at work with maybe a sneaked peak every now and then.

Hey guys really hope you guys make the playoffs this year , always had a soft spot for the Blue Jackets as well and follow your prospects and players .

I wanted to get your guys opinion

Would Ryan Murray or David Savard be a better pickup for fantasy this year ? Who will get more ice time , points , hits , and shots.

I would have to say Savard. The only reason I say that is because you can't really count on Murray's durability.
