Well, to be fair this is a lower caliber team than last year. Good players looking lazy and not-good players trying can look a lot alike.

If these guys plays the same as a team with Dvorak and a terrier like Garland, and thats just to mention two guys, the problem was definitively Tocchet.

They are flat today but they're also an older and slower team, for the most part.

They've also clawed back into roughly even scoring chances after Buffalo pooped on them in the 1st.

Tourigny probably should have left the lines and pairings alone.

I actually gotta agree with Nash there. First pass is the issue. Coyotes defensemen don't seem to have the confidence to make good first passes or skate pucks out of trouble. Instead, they just try to get rid of it somehow and end up turning it over all the time. Chychrun does it but he's mostly the only one. Maybe dress Provolnev and see if he can do it as well. I don't think the other defenders are bad but they have to get used to pressure put on them via efficent forchecking.
