To be fair he probably has less than three offensive zone starts in those 72 games too. Leads the team in takeaways and forwards in +/-. Also leads the team in on ice gf%. He basically negates the opposition whenever he's on the ice despite being crap offensively. That is useful when our team sucks bad and we need to eat minutes.

He's a 4th line centre, with limited minutes and shit linemates.

Meanwhile Josh Anderson hasn't scored in like 23 games, with likely similar minutes to those Evans games, far better linemates, and tons PP time.

Evans is the least of our worries.

Problem is he's not even doing that anymore. His puck possession is all Perimeter every bit of it. I'm glad they worked on his game.
