It'll be interesting to see what he shows in the playoffs if his coach lets him off the bench.

Aside from that, I'm just looking forward to his year finishing so he can sign his contract with us.

I hope they bench him the rest of the season and playoffs to be honest.

No risk of injury and he can just sign and come to Montreal when the charade is done.

I'd like to see him go beast mode in the playoffs.

Beside that, I agree with the sentiment. He has achieved all lot this season and took a big step going from the junior hockey to pro hockey. It bodes well for his transition to the NHL.

What's a realistic point total for Demidov next year.....60pts? That's with him playing top 6 minutes with some PP time.

Realistically, Demidov could score 70+ pts next season.

Celebrini is on pace for 72 pts this season while being a year younger and playing on a far less talented team

If he’s on the “second” line next season, they will have to find him a legit 2C to play with to to be able to reach 70 pts. It ain’t happening with Dach or Beck.

F**k Ska lol don't care about the playoffs for them.

Dach is highly skilled. He's not going to stop Demidov from scoring 70 pts.

Yes Dach has had struggles this season, which is not surprising considering he missed an entire year. Laine missed a whole year too, and he has struggled to perform at his best at 5 on 5. Both of them are expected to be much better next season.

Expected by you? Even if Dach is “better” next season, he’s still not a good center.

Who is Demidov gonna play with next year? Slaf-Suzuki-Caufield is probably still gonna be a lock. Dach-Demidov-Laine? is Newhook on the way out?

I'm sure they'll be in on Bennett.. but it's hard to know who is gonna come available due to a cap crunch or a playoff team trying to shake things up.

You expect Dach to perform next season the same way he did this season after losing a whole year to injury?

He looked good at center before his injury. We'll see how he looks next season.

I'm starting to be afraid that Demidov will not make it to Canada next summer. The pressure on him from within Russia to stay in Russia seems to be tremendous. I have a bad feeling about all this.

Michkov had 2 years left on his contract and still made it to NA anyway.

Demidovs contract with Russia ends in the Spring and that's all there is to it.
You will see him in MTL in the *summer* even

50-60 points seems about right.

I see what a guy like Lucas Raymond did in his 2 first years and what he's doing this year and I don't see why Demidov couldn't become a play driving winger and a top 10-20 point scorer in the league by the time he's 21-22.

Which is crazy to say as a habs fan because we've never had a forward prospect like this in some of our lifetimes and we've been programmed to just assume the worst for decades. Don't get me wrong Suzuki and Caufield are great but I think this kid can be better

I mean why not us? For once. It would be nice no?

I will take a breath when I will see him in Montréal Trudeau airport.....not before...

With this regime in Russia...situations with players are all different and things can change in a heatbeat.

it is normal to be a bit worry

Even if he magically looks good, he will not play a full season. I think it's very naive to think otherwise.
It's time to move on from the Dach experiment, it has failed.

Michkov had 2 years left on his deal.
Michkov's father was *murdered* before the draft.
Michkov is playing in North America.

RDS and the Canadiens featured him in an ad for season tickets a few days ago. There’s speculation that this really pissed off Rotenberg and led to his benching the next day. He’s 100% coming.
