Habs had a really good start. But they started getting sloppy again and Ducks finished with the momentum.

A lot of guys had good a period. But 3 guys that stood out to me were Newhook, Guhle & Slaf.

Holland is on the last year of his contract — what are the odds he might make that available? Tonight’s Oiler game is another proverbial nail.

You can blame him for his lack of scoring but you can't really blame him for his linemates being unable to finish. 18 games in our leading scorers have six goals, half of which are on the PP. After their first 5-6 games Gally and Pearson are pacing similarly to Anderson.

It was funny ten games in when everyone was scoring but him, but now Anderson passes the eye test and half of the top 9 don't, with none of them putting up any points.

I think people are way too pre-occupied with production. I get it, he needs to score, but when he plays hard and does his thing he can still be a very effective player that influences the game in other ways.

That said at 5.5M he needs to start producing some offense. Not just for us but his own sanity.

His value is taking a big hit.

So far (before lottery), they're sitting 30th in league standings even Columbus is ahead of them. Oilers are 5-12-1. Chicago is one point back of them at 5-12-0. Lol

He passes the eye test? Hardly. He still makes so many dumb plays because he doesn't think ahead. So many opposition chances off him firing wide.

Every defenseman on this team has scored before him, including the one with 5 games.

It's good that Marty and Kent like him, because no one is trading for him.

Probably none. Rumours are he's a lame duck G.M. and it's their new McDavid friend PHO who is pulling the strings. Oilers season is pretty much done. They're already 8 points back of a WC spot, with 6-7 teams to jump.

They look completely incapable of going on the type of run they'd need to overcome that.
