There's no one that can tell me that he doesn't look invisible for large stretches of games and that was before this season.

He'll be invisible 80% of the night rip off a good shot end the night with a goal and all is well. Sorry my glasses aren't rose colored as most around here. I love the guy but I've never viewed him as the guy that's gonna put the team on his back and carry them to the finish line

Even if all of that is true, so what?

Your not going to fix the worst offensive team in hockey by trading your best offensive player.

Everyone is saying the Bruins are slow and they are, but when you watch others games you just see how bad it is. I’m watching some of the Leafs & Oilers right now. What a massive difference vs how the Bruins move the puck and skate. No compassion even if the Leafs are struggling. I also flipped on Montreal and CBJ. I watched Montreal score a PP goal by moving the puck and getting a shot. What a concept!!!! Watch other games and you’ll see just how far off the Bruins are to being a playoff team even just a WC team with some speed and scoring. Changing the coach won’t change that but they have to do something I guess.

Not really much to say about this team that hasn't already been said. Coaches seem to refuse to implement a new system or try anything new other than shuffle lines. For the players I don't care if they don't like the coach. You're a professional, act like one.

You are not wrong but by time this team is rebuilt it won't matter

You don't need years and years to rebuild teams anymore. And with the lottery now it's even harder just to bottom out and still get top players.

A smart GM can fix this a lot quicker. Won't be within the season but go look around the league now teams rise and fall and rise again much. Seriously who had the Washington Capitals being a 5 on 5 monster this season? Heck, who had them as a contender? And that's just one example.

Well, not saying you are wrong but Sweeney is not pulling that off .I fully expect some dark seasons incoming.

The reason why in am optimistic is simple. The Atlantic division is a logjam it's like when I ate a whopper meal then went for a medium pepperoni pizza right after and even the ex lax barely worked. Nobody really running away with it right now and way too early to write anyone off. Win against the crappy Columbus next game and boom we are making noise again.

On what was just another manic Saturday (shoutout, you Bangles fans), Joonas Korpisalo (28 saves) kept things calm. The Bruins stopper, who could start Monday night with his former club (Blue Jackets) in town, was the sole reason the Bruins had a chance to work overtime before falling to the Blues, 3-2, at the Garden.

“I felt fresh, hadn’t played in a while,” said Korpisalo, last seen in net on Nov. 7, an OT win over the Flames. “We were buzzing in the beginning there.”

By nature of the position, goalies are always under pressure. When teams are in a rut, the logic follows that they’re under more pressure.

“You want to win, right?” said Korpisalo, when asked about the added heat that comes around a team scuffling along like the 8-8-3 Bruins. “The OT [goal] … I’m not too happy about that. It is what it is … we’re getting better.”

There are always things to work on, the goalie said when asked about his game in general.

“Just keep working … keep working,” Korpisalo said.

My opinion, if not for him they would have been blown out again.

Doesn't really matter what the other teams are doing. Our team is not a good team right now. If they make playoffs and play the way they're playing, they'll be out in 4. Our special teams are terrible and everyone looks confused, including the coaches. Not to mention our low shot totals.. it's not going to get easier in the playoffs.

Hoping they turn it around soon I would start with keeping lindholm and zacha together . Solid talented players with skills . I dont like they got broke up.

Leafs had 26 "slot driving chances" in the 1st period according to a graphic by HNIC.

Not trying to praise the Leafs by any stretch but I'd be interested to know what the Bruins number of slot driving chances are the past month or so. And what is a good or great number here?

I'm wagering the Bruins number isn't good.

I chose yard work over wasting my time with this game. I feel like it was a far better choice and I hate cleaning up leaves.
Did you step in any of your dogs shit? Never fails - key is keeping old sneakers for yard work

I, eye, i... We get it Freddy. There's no I in team but it's all about ME!
I’m a big me and I guy. How dare you

Maybe Canucks take Zadorov for DeBrusk trade lol I never checked clauses so no need to say it.Just some humor.

Need to miss playoffs couple times for it
Bruins fans wanted for years to get rid of him - don’t do this to them

Trade everyone except Pasta and Sawyman and build a core.
I want a 13 year Buffalo rebuild where sometime around year 7 it feels like a Stanley Cup when we put together a three-game winning streak

You are 100% right. But don’t dare criticize him or people will start to talk about how snappy a dresser he is or how adorable his moustache is. I could give a rats ass. I want a player that gives 100 % every shift and he’s far from that .
We also want "nice guys who cuddle kittie's."

It would be nice if they did but we're 19 games in and haven't seen any consistency at all. The coaching staff had all summer to come up with a plan. How can you go that Florida series barely getting shots on net then next season it's even worse. This team is struggling and needs to throw everything at the net and crash it. Force feeding Pasta on the powerplay isn't going to help. They can barely get into the zone and then the other team knows to get a stick in the lane towards Pasta.

They really need to simply their game and it all starts from the defensive zone.
