would love to see these lines:

Newhook-Suzuki-Ylonen<-You don't lose mobility with anderson off this line and you gain finishing.

Caufield-Monahan-Slafkovsky<-Max space for CC + 2 players to feed him passes.

Pearson-Dvorak-Gallagher<-Could be a strong vet line that can eat minutes and score.

Pezzetta-Evans-Anderson<-Fast and tough, the 4th line continues to do its job pressuring and wearing down the opponent. It sucks that anderson has that contract but he actually would be great for that line, and I bet he would probably finally score. Ylonen is much more useful in the top6.

I’d swap Anderson with Pearson but you nailed it.

Anderson seems to be trying and getting chances at the very least.

How an iconic franchise like this hasn't had a 100 point player since 1986 and a 40 goal scorer since 94 is mind boggling.

The Habs have only drafted 9 times in the top 10 since 1986 where most 100 pts player are taken and 5 of them were in the last 11 years.
- last 2 drafts are TBD
- KK (still TBD mostly, Brady T. and Q. Hughes haven't reach 100 yet, but might get there)
- Sergachev (no 100 pts player taken after him, yet)
- Galchy (the best players on his draft year reached ~70 pts)
- Price (no 100 pts player taken after him, there was Kopitar thought)
- A. Kostitsyn (at least it wasn't Hugh Jessiman and no 100pts player were taken after him)
- Komisarek (not 100 pts player taken after him)
- Terry Ryan (super bust, and Iginla never reached 100 pts, he got to 98 does that count?)

I might have missed someone somewhere, I checked the list fast.

I'm just reporting the stats. You can go check yourself where Caufield is taking most of his shots from, it's right there on the NHL website on the Edge section. And moneypuck has the stats for the all the shots attempts too.
Show them. Show last years as well, they’d be cool to see.

For get 100 points. The habs have not had a 90 point player since the mid 90s.

Re the GDT poll: The 1971 Boston/Habs playoff series was the best by far for me. Stanley Cup champs Boston loaded with Bobby Orr, Phil Esposito, Derek Sanderson, Johnny Bucyk, Ken Hodge and Wayne Cashman versus unproven rookie goalie Ken Dryden. I still remember listening over the radio to Game Two in Boston when Montreal came roaring back from a 5-2 deficit in the third period to win 7-5. John Ferguson with the winning goal. That's the game where Esposito called Dryden "an octopus" in net. Montreal went on to win the series en route to the Cup! Memories!!!

Cole is the first legitimate sniper we have had since Richer, we as fans want to see a 40 goal scorer on this roster and Caufield is the most promising player to do it.

It's wild. What's wilder is the people that are okay with it.

thanks for the clarity haha I wasn't sure. Totally agreed.
I rarely make sense...just so you know 😁

Where do I sign up? These lines deserve a try

Leave Ylonen there. Give him a real test. Geez, play him with Suzuki if you have too.

Finally Ylo gets a shot.

Him and Moneyhands are poised with the puck, Slaf should benefit from that duo.

Anderson playing with a crash and banger is the way to go.

Pearson hasn't done much of anything lately. Will be fighting with RHP.

Suzuki and Caufield should have a big night.

Frank Mahovlich with then a record of 27 points in the playoffs.
