Slafkovsky has had bad luck in setting people up who couldn't finish, including his time with CC. But maybe Ylonen will be the guy he can connect with and create a passer/shooter duo of their own.
Ylonen is a skilled player, and there was a time where I thought he'd be the guy to trade, but he's impressed me and he shows a lot of potential as a solid offensive contributor. Put Monahan between them and I like the recipe.

That's good to hear. I haven't kept up with JS, but if he's doing that well maybe he could replace X's role for a game or two and bring that physicality.
