One good game does not make up for multiple bad ones.

I was at the game and made a point to watch Mikkola and he looked really solid all around, right down to his play away from the puck. Scoring a goal to seal the game should help his mojo a little too, I would imagine. He might just be a late bloomer which wouldn't be uncommon for defensemen, particularly lanky, rangy ones.

Nice win for The Blues after a poor start. They still have a LOT of defensive problems. But when a team scores a lot, they are easier to overcome. Glad that Binnington allowed no more than those 2 early bad goals. I look forward to Schenn playing Wednesday.
