I loved the game, but it wasn't until I watched the nhl.tv highlight package that it made it clear the team really carried the scoring chances. Odd man rushes, near misses, etc..

Is it just me or have the Jackets out-chanced the other club most of the time the last 5 games? If Bob gets his head straight this team could go on a tear.

He had some good looks that's for sure. But he was blocking passes and making good plays out there and that's more than you can say for some of our other centers.

Yeah I'm liking what I see from him. Liked him mixing it up in front of Bob and standing over the pit guy too (Hornquist I think, right?). That's moxy.

Have to wonder if he'd have been given this much of an opportunity under Richards? Torts seems to really like him

I'd rather see Foligno or Johansen get a goal rather than Karlsson, but I agree he's playing well.

Wild Bill is looking like the real deal.

I'll take goals, assists, anything from him. So far, his line, no matter whether Hartsy is out there or who is out there with him, does not score. Two goals all year.

The other team scores, his line doesn't. 2 for, 13 against. That's the worst ratio on the team.

Everything else looks good about him. I agree he needs more points, but that goes for a lot of guys on this team. Playing with Bork and Campbell is not helpful. He put himself defensively in the right spot numerous times and he also found himself in the right spot offensively a couple times, short handed. He just needs to convert, but I think he is doing all the little things well, the big things will come his way soon. He played big tonight.

He also had no PP time tonight, but 2:43 of PK time, so it looks like he is being used in a way that makes scoring harder. He had the most ice time of all our centers, so obviously Torts likes him too.

5-2 in the last 7 road games. Now if we could win some at home.

Nice game, made it interesting at the end but we're used to that.

Hopefully. But just as big of a plus, and maybe even a bigger one, is as others have mentioned, they Jackets could bury a few of those chances.

One of last night's goals was a bit lucky in that the puck hit the lose stick and allowed Hartsy to be in position to score.

And that's how the Prophecy as foretold by Stingers weiner came to pass.
