It seems like the Jackets never score with an empty net. Perhaps teams in the Pens situation will want to start resorting to that earlier.

Bob was good.... our defense must play better tho, and we must increase scoring... lol

As of today the best thing the Jackets have going is Torts, we finally have real NHL coaching.

No teasing. I'm playing off of the Torts thread.

Are you going to the game tomorrow JAXS? My favorite games were Saturday, dinner at Buca around 5pm then the game around 7pm... Over the last 16 years when I did so we lost most but it's time to turn that around!!!

:shakehead Of course I do. Bill Davidge always says that when we get lucky.

Billy is the king of the mixed metaphor. I once asked him if he realized that "dodged a break" meant we avoided something good. He looked puzzled.

Will be there Tuesday, not tomorrow. We usually eat down at one of the restaurants before the games. Love the shrimp Diablo at Buca.

Nice of JJ to just let the Pens player just stand there and screen Bob

There's a TSN story recently on how Babcock wants a defender to cover far post on 6-on-5's. JJ needed to cover that post, not Hornqvist, who was Savard's man.

If you ask me the guys played the 6 on 5 too high. A human wall of 5 skaters and a goalie would do better than 2 goals against in two minutes of 6 on 5. In either case we need to practice it more.
