Ill tell you why people are miffed, at least why I am:

You can see the Devils came out with energy the first few shifts, with a bit of luck and hardwork had a nice bounce on a first goal, then decided to pack it up and go in cruise control because they sense the depth of the opposition is really weak and they're just struggling to get a goal. They know the Senators are in the dip, and they're counting that they can play it out without much effort.

The rest of the game goes as such

As a fan, its frustrating to see this type of mentality. What will be ironic is if the team gives up some early goals and falls behind in the 3rd.
