I don't wish injury on anybody, but we can't afford to keep losing forwards. We have this surplus of defensemen, and are in a much better position to lose one of them than a forward.

It makes me laugh about all the ''We could use 8 defensemen this year because there will undoubtedly be injuries'' comments during the offseason.

I wanted to see the Devils break up Carter-Gionta-Bernier and spread them out, not the way I wanted to see it done though.
