He really has come as advertised. Not much in terms of puck skill, but a real rock defensively.

This team sucks. Appreciate the effort they put forth in the 2nd but it's just not going to win.

Look at the difference in zone pressure. When the Jets have the puck in the zone, everyone is moving, lots of smart, short passes are being made, and there's always a fear that they'll score.

When we have it in the zone, it's usually a one-and-done shot from well outside with no traffic, or an attempted cycle that gets cut off.

The effort is there, Skill/Talent/Structure are not. We are not winning many hockey games when our first line is slumping (and god do they slump hard) - but that's old news. Unfortunatly it shows the past 2 weeks.

If we score tonight its gonna be a fluke goal with like 2 minutes remaining. Mackinnons line needs to dictate play but they are getting GSP'd blanketed right now by the Jets.

I'd like him a lot more as a bottom pairing/pk/situation guy, but sadly with Nemeth and Barbi we really can't do that...
