1. Kennedy is not a top 9 player on this team.
2. Murray is not a top 9 defenseman on this team.

What a POS Shaw is. How in God's name did that boarding amount to 4 on 4? At least this time it didn't cost us the game...

Have we played a full 60 minute game this year? We used to be able to sustain puck possession in the offensive zone and get continuous chances. It feels like we're getting outshot in every single game and almost every possession is a one and done. Are we just too slow now? I'm hoping for some sort of shakeup, hopefully sooner rather than later.

2 things that aren't hurting the Sharks. What IS hurting the Sharks is that:

Thornton
Marleau
Pavs
Couture
Havlat
Clowe

....have played like bottom 6 forwards

Murray is one the least of the Sharks problems

Thornton had like 15 blind passes that turned directly into possession time and scoring chances for the Hawks. :shakehead

Anyway, the good thing about this is that I've got the flu and hating on the Sharks has given me energy. :)

Agreed. There are more than a few Sharks that aren't even close to carrying the weight that they should.

Those are the problems, but saying Murray is one of the least of the problems is just a lie. They are hemmed in the d-zone everytime he's on the ice. The Top-6 isn't playing that well, but there is nothing you can do about that. Murray is playing horribly, so play Braun.

I've always been very optimistic about this team despite its obvious flaws, but damn they are just depressing to watch right now.

Here is the problem:
Sharks tied for 23rd in the league for goals for. 3rd in the league for goals against. Not scoring is the problem.

Missed the last period. Noticed that people are seeing how much of a POS Shaw really is. My Hawks-fan-friend loves that little *****......

Exaggerate much? And actually at least one of those player was actually used as a bottom 6 forward for some godforsaken reason.

Murray is probably the #1 problem with the sharks, he is like an anchor on the team. Once they get in any sort of a dogfight he just drags them down for the rest of the game.

Kennedy for his part was terribad tonight, showed ahl-level awareness on so many plays.
