Do you think Demidov moves the needle at all the way the team plays? I would be you 100$ he would end up sucking ass on this team. The coaching is clearly the problem here, there's no way the team should be THIS bad.
Even teams with no talent like the Sharks have players looking better. This is 100% on coaching. Suzuki didn't just forget how to care after being a consistent beast for numerous consecutive seasons.

Nope, but I do want to see a player like Kovalev with the abilty to take over a game and get the fans out of their seats, that's what I'm looking forward to.

Remember tankophiles are convinced that going from losing to competitiveness is a flip of a switch.
Never. I wanted a 5-year tank. Which gives a team enough time to work on the other things. Which should ALSO not be sign that we could be dull and soff in the process. You could lose plenty, and you hope to, because you don' thave the skills which makes sense. But overworked? Being soff? How is that suppose to be paired with tanking?

And how is it that you can't see individual progress while you lose? How is complete regression by everybody the automatic way to progress?

It feels like Suzuki thinks they won't be in the mix this year so he's just gliding through it. Doesn't seem to care. Not the only one but it's the most noticeable one.

Better effort in the 3rd.
Still not enough to score a goal.
There is simply lack of talent on this team unfortunately.

It's honestly shocking how lost everyone appears to be in every zone, always behind the play, always in the wrong place to provide puck support, always positioned in such a way as to be unable to funnel the play through the neutral zone.

You see Dach suddenly become better with Pascal Vincent? Same with Slaf? Same with Guhle?
