Even teams with no talent like the Sharks have players looking better. This is 100% on coaching. Suzuki didn't just forget how to care after being a consistent beast for numerous consecutive seasons.
Suzuki had a lot of down moments through the years. He's been consistent when you consider the year as a whole, but there were a lot of very good stretches, mixed with mediocre ones.

Cmon Suzi!
Your pretending that you are actually trying is so obvious man.
Stop with this fake effort and start to play hard man.
You are the captain FFS!

Define a lot and how long they last. And compare it to other team's top forwards. He's been without a doubt our most consistent player since joining the team.

The Panthers didn't want to waive him but were in a salary cap pickle with Bob and Wright. You know better that.
Panthers look like they did just fine without him. He was clearly the easiest choice to waive because they wouldn't miss him if someone ended up grabbing him, which we did. Never looked like a good goalie even in the Q.

You mean define the good stretches? If so then when he gets going it can last for a while, can't say how many games exactly but like he's going for a few months. But there were so times when it felt like he was just skating around, not as much last year though obviously.
