I bet online porn traffic increases in Quebec every evening Habs play

The game is background noise to keep the wife away. Oldest trick in the book.

Panthers look like they did just fine without him. He was clearly the easiest choice to waive because they wouldn't miss him if someone ended up grabbing him, which we did. Never looked like a good goalie even in the Q.

The most obvious case of a player living rent-free in the mind of an HFBoards user.

Another low 40 % in the face off department.
Man it's tough to find something in which we are just decent

Who said this?
The general tone and tenor of the current phase of the rebuild has underlined it

They think adding drafted assets => winning

Losing for another whole season isn’t a much of a problem if you’re certain it doesn’t affect the subsequent season.

They don’t think the competitiveness and tactical skills both have to be improved incrementally and have to be shown through the results AND performances.
No if you actually read, some said it's incremental, which is logical, once you start to add actual players drafted in the rebuild, for the rebuild. We've added two of those so far. The more we add, year after year, the more likely it culminates to enough talent to compete.

Case in point. It doesn’t matter if the drafted player enter a slovenly and confused roster with bad coaching. The more young players are thrown in he mix, the better. Right?

Yeah, no, pretty sure that's not a thing.
It’s definitely not.

I can’t imagine why some people are convinced that building a competitive roster requires a lot of losing immediately beforehand.

It literally does not add up.

This team is better than this. I want to know how an entire team can regress...
I watch last year's top line, all 3 look like completely different players. Xhekaj and Guhle look nothing like they did in year one.

You mean define the good stretches? If so then when he gets going it can last for a while, can't say how many games exactly but like he's going for a few months. But there were so times when it felt like he was just skating around, not as much last year though obviously.
I'm just trying to know how many games is considered "a lot of down moments". Because yes he has a bad handful of consecutive games, but it's not like he's great for 10, bad for 10, great for 10, bad for 10...etc. I also don't know which player is excellent from game 1 to the last game of the playoffs.

Thank god they got the i-Pad for suzuki. Probably got him re-watching plays while subway surfer plays underneath.

Well of course they waived him. Bob was in the beginning of a long term $10m/year contract and Wright was the top goalie prospect in the world at the time.

You've been wrong for 3 years on Monty and you're still wrong. He has masked some poor play during this period and is a large reason our odds weren't better to get Bedard and Celebrini.

It’s easier to be a hunter and surprise teams vs being the hunted - pro scouts do tend to do their jobs and find player weaknesses

It's been a very strong 3rd...

Youngest squad in the league is going to carry it's bumps, consistency comes with maturity & experience for most players. Guys like Hutson are the rare exceptions
