I've got to jump in here, not because f this post but because of the volume of them. Those who know me know that I have been a huge proponent of Frankie. He's a stone cold killer when it comes to 1 on zero situations such as shootouts. He moves well side to side. He's a goofy-glover, so shooters have to think twice about shooting 'glove side'. All that said, the one thing which kills me is his poor play behind the net. It has driven me crazy since the day he arrived. He is not very good at wrapping the puck aroud the boards (the whole damn team should learn from Carolinaa, who consistently are able to wrap the puk out of the zone at about 7 feet. off the ground. The point is that Frankie caused himself at least 50% of the pain. Watch the replay. He sure looked like he was going to just leave it - as apparently Englund screamed. Then, at the last moment, he switches to a clearance around the boards. I love Frankie, but at least half the blame is on him.

Something to think about: If it were Toews or Makar calling for that puck would Frank let them take it? I think so. Does he trust a pylon of a call up? Probably not.

Tell me you have never played the position without telling me have never played the position. Yikes
I was a dman when I was younger. Never a goalie. I never ran my goalie over going back for a puck ever. Not many guys have. Honestly, ask yourself how many times have you seen an NHL dman run over his goalie like that on a play like that? It doesnt happen but thanks for trying.
