And really on top of that... The rules are there.
You can definitely get away with things.. But I know the rules pretty well, and if your making millions you damn well better.
Push them if you want, I don't blame you... But if you break a rule and don't get away with it... Well, don't break the ****ing rule, or shut the **** up and take your punishment.
I understand it would be nice to see more consistent calls, but failing that, just because you got away with one does not mean you didn't break the rules, and doesn't mean its safe to do so. You can test it if you want, but play with fire...

How many times are players hit in the numbers but absorb hits and nothing is called? How often do players hook others but unless control of the puck is lost no penalty called? The inconsistency is maddening, fans only see it the way they want to
 
Those are two pretty big missed calls that the ref should have seen.

The Kings should have had a penalty shot and Phoenix should have had a 2 on 1.

The refs do a great job and are right the vast majority of the time, but those are two big blunders.

I don't disagree... But also the irony of the complaint followed by fans only see what they want is awesomely ironic.

But yeah that covering was missed.

To some degree, along with calling the rules the refs move the slider back and forth to manage games. I hear you and understand, but am also somewhat OK with that. (until its costs us :D )

Oh I saw Martinez grab the puck, I know why the call was made. It was borderline, unlike for example covering the puck in the paint.
 
Not complaining about the calls
Bad/missed calls even out over the season.
I am going to complain about the sloppy play by the Kings.
Blown passes, pucks hopping over sticks, winning (?) faceoffs but losing the puck.
