I thought Sweden was supposed to be relatively bad this year, geez. Their d-corps is insane, and that’s after they replaced 19 year old Liljegren with 17 year old Broberg!

It’s a bad game guys relax, USA will play better as the tournament goes on.

Why do people overreact so much recently

There's a line separating supreme confidence and reckless arrogance. Quinn crossed it on that 3rd goal.

Sweden is playing a superb team game. Almost mistake-free, short accurate passes, loads of puck support, keeping the slot clear, retrieving the puck, giving very little skating room. Hat tip to their play and preparation.

There is no offensive creativity from almost all of their forwards and all their D's have been bad thus far, except for that easy game yesterday.

People overreact to this tournament way too much.

It’s an awesome, fun tournament that I look forward to every year, but projecting players careers solely based on it is utterly insane.

Are we even talking about the same play? Cause the forward got the shot off
i dont remember there being a shot. Anyways regardless it was a great cycle shift by that line and Hughes decided to waste it all by forcing a nothing play. Very disappointed. It was a nice tight game until then

The U.S. started the game with no juice, no swagger, zero urgency and they are getting worked. It's a freaken clinic out there. Is Hughes that big of an impact for the team? Stupid passes, stupid moves, half-ass effort. Sweden looks like a well oiled machine out there. They know the U.S.'s every move before they even do anything.
I thought the U.S. played really well for the first 5 minutes. After that, I agree.

I don't think the game was tight at all, Sweden dominated the game even before the 3-0 goal

Bahhh...
He's just one of those kind of players. You take a little bad with a whole lot of good. He will screw up trying to be too aggressive sometimes; but he brings so much and can generate so much you live with it.

Sweden's d-core is ridiculous......especially in terms of transitioning to offense. Could you imagine Dahlin and Liljegren on this team. Sweet 'effin Jesus'.

US has had no answer to the pressure from Sweden so far. Just relentless all over the ice with overlapping support.

They looked like a senior team that second period. Very responsible in every situation.
