About as bad as it was to be a Blues fan last week. You know your team is better than this, they just can't get their heads out of their *****.

I think the Blues are finding their legs and confidence, which seems like both were gone for that 5 game stretch. Having 2 sets of 3 games in 4 days really hurt them. They weren't anywhere near ready for that.

Flames fan here.
As I said on the Calgary board, we know how the stars feel, except I don't see us scoring 4 goals in this game.

I'm not that mad to be honest. It's weird.

Any scenario where we trade for a (hopefully big) top-line LD, and move Cole to third pairing would make us dominant.

My thoughts from the 1st

Schwartz looks like he is starting to get his assertiveness. Not only did he make 2 great plays, there was a play I remember where he was banging his stick on the ice wanting the puck back. He is starting to be much less passive and playing like he belongs. And he does belong.

Ian Cole has been very solid defensively. He needs to play every game, and then we can see what we have.

Glad Perron scored that 4th goal. It was reward for him being lit up on a hit to keep the puck in during that sequence and then winning a couple of puck battles. Hitchcock should keep that in the video collection of hard work paying off.

Sign Chris Stewart now. The dude is a tank with a Ferrari engine. If he can hit even 75% of his potential, he is going to be a useful player that we really would rather have with us than against us.

Now they just can't let up in the 2nd or fall back into bad habits.

Lundquist should not win with that save anyway. Any on with half a brain knows the puck crossed the line, since it could not be seen they made the right call but no one should be calling it the save of the year.

Schwartz really started looking good a few games ago when he was on the 4th line. He was playing with speed and intensity hitting anything he could get to, now that he is back on a scoring line he switched from physicality to offensive ability. (this sounded better in my head)

If they scored on the save Allen made this game could have been very different. I think it gave us confidence and deflated the Flames.

Jesus that Allen save was incredible, and he made it look so easy, that's the best part.

Schwartz-Berglund-Stewart is ****ing sick. I love this line right now. So much skill, they look awesome. Nice to see Schwartz improving.

Russell is awful. I'd probably rather have Woywitka than him.

Great period though obviously. Our powerplay looks unstoppable.
