He knew what he was signing up for and I don't think he's complaining about the wins/losses so much as the general attitude of others who didn't choose to be here.He willingly signed with SJS...

He also got $6 million, which is probably rather more than anyone else offered. He knew what he was signing up for and I don't think he's complaining about the wins/losses so much as the general attitude of others who didn't choose to be here.
And you know, I wouldn't actually be upset if this was the reasoning. There's something problematic in various ways about the old-school notion of guys wanting to play through anything--it can be detrimental to the team and to the player's long-term health.
When i was in public school i dislocated my shoulder, was told by doctors and teachers to stay away from sports in gym class. Every time during volleyball i would join in and hit the ball back anyways lol.SNOG
SJS 3/2
Mack/Toff/Zetts
Monahan/Olivier
It's rarely black and white. Wanting to play all of the time is in a professional athlete's nature.
I'm one of those people who has, more often than I'd like to admit, kept going when I should have taken a break so can relate....
NFL trade deadline?6 pages, and still 3 hours till puck drop! Wonder if we're feeling antsy for other reasons...
NFL trade deadline?
I'm a Washington fan. Imagine being a Commanders fan and a Sharks fan? These last few years have been brutal. If you're a 49ers fan, it either turned into a dud or you are getting so many injured players back it feels like a trade deadline where you don't give up anything.

Oh I know. It just feels like both teams have mirrored each other. Bad teams previously. Got a superstar franchise-altering talent and while Washington has already turned that corner the Sharks have the brightest future in the NHL.Commanders look like they are going to win the NFC East. You got that going for you.
Wasn't trading Hertl supposed to kill the fanbase and be a terrible decision though?Oh I know. It just feels like both teams have mirrored each other. Bad teams previously. It's just nice.
Everything changed when we drafted Celebrini, but you can see how empty the barn is when he's not playing. If we didn't get first it would have been a real trying year. Maybe we get Demidov, maybe we don't trade for Askarov. Toffoli doesn't sign here...Wasn't trading Hertl supposed to kill the fanbase and be a terrible decision though?
It amazes me that here in San Jose that a rookie could cause this much fervor.Everything changed when we drafted Celebrini, but you can see how empty the barn is when he's not playing. Like I said. I can't imagine how trying this year would have been had we not gotten first. It would have been the first time I actually contemplated the idea of the team moving. It amazes me that here in San Jose that a rookie could cause this much fervor.
It’s nice to see fans, not us here, excited to attend games again.
That's literally every rebuild ever. Nobody cares how many games you lost last season when you have young talent with some hype playing. It amazes me that here in San Jose that a rookie could cause this much fervor.

And things would have completely fine if they didn't get Celebrini too.Everything changed when we drafted Celebrini, but you can see how empty the barn is when he's not playing. end of year performance review you read my mind6 pages, and still 3 hours till puck drop! Wonder if we're feeling antsy for other reasons...
This year's been good though for the CommandersI'm a Washington fan. Imagine being a Commanders fan and a Sharks fan? These last few years have been brutal.

I mean in the NBA right now Oklahoma City and San Antonio are both in similar situations. Here in San Jose?
I'm not so sure. If we went in with Will Smith being the fresh face to inspire hope and he got off to the start he's gotten off to, it would have been rough. Grier may have tried to go all-in again for a tank year and that would have been a hard sell to Hasso. No matter who we would have taken, whether Demidov or Lev, they wouldn't have been in the NHL for another couple of yearsAnd things would have completely fine if they didn't get Celebrini too.
I think NBA is higher profile than NHL.I mean in the NBA right now Oklahoma City and San Antonio are both in similar situations.
