I don't think Liljegren has the deception or playmaking ability in his game to quarterback a power play but we'll see. Celebrini is the real QB anyway.

Compared to our other options he's almost the default choice. He's a decent puck-handler and has an above average shot. No way we go to a 5 forward unit.

I'm genuinely curious if the team plans to give Carlsson NHL minutes or will they be sending him down to the Barracuda when he's ready (since the Cuda don't play again til Saturday).

No need to read into one game decision. Might be that Walman is slightly banged up and wanted to go but coach decided not, even if he says "it's not about the hit." Maybe it's about holding the best players accountable, in which case, no problem, it's one game, let's see if it becomes a problematic pattern before over-analyzing it.
