I was expecting Xhekaj to be one of the first Habs players suspended, Not the Habs resident friendly giant.


I think the game will be a highs coring one. Caufield will have a multiple goal game and Pettersson will get a goal and assist.

Also Kent Hughes will run down towards the ice after the Canucks get scored on and yell "who's your Daddy" to quinn Hughes while doing the DX crotch chop.

Last time Slafkovsky was out he came back an improved player. This will give him time to work off ice and watch the game from above without people freaking out that he's not playing.

We have a 3 game home stand right now. We'll see if Montreal calls anyone up.

Can Drouin comeback from yesterday humiliating game? That PP blunder on the blue line, intercepted passes and that saucy missed shootout attempt.

I don't know why but I'm expecting a good game from that line, most likely because of Monahan feeling pumped vs the Canucks.

But you get to watch Mike Hoffman and Jonathan Drouin! And Dadonov... not to mention Dvorak, Gallagher and Armia. You just have to look at things positively and you'll find that excitement.

Canucks team D is horrible but their offense is good. I expect this game to be lots of goals. Caufield is likely to score.



All I can see is he will have a hearing. Is it on the phone or in person? I can't find that out?

It's nice to see the Habs putting up some wins despite being in a transition. I get the allure of Bedard but it's important to instill a culture of playing hard or you risk being perpetual losers and as the Oilers have shown 1 or 2 guys no matter how good don't equal success.

The nucks defense has gotten a ton of flack and while a few earlier games when missing guys they struggled the main reason this team went 0-5-2 instead of 6-1 is 99% on goaltending.
7 blown leads of 2+ goals, leading or tied in a 11 of 13 with even average Demko this team would be near the top, it's been extremely frustrating.

Here in Van we got used to Demko standing on his head so seeing him not only incapable of bailing out the D when needed but flub even league average saves has been hard to watch.

On the pk it's been especially noticeable.

Tonight has the potential to be a really fun game that finishes 8-6. Cheers.

I would agree if he was given PP time and better linemates!

4 rookies on D and the best 1st line in years it's more exciting than whoever they play ~10min on the 4th line wing.
