I missed most of the game and only read about it in one of the french articles. What happened to Savard last night? What did he get a 10 minute miscounduct? Did he tell refs they are not qualified to ref a beer league, let alone NHL?

Yes he was bullying the little manlet ref for his brutal calls after the 2nd period.

Two soft calls on the same wings player, including one on him (Savard), pushed him over the edge. I don't blame him either, the refs last night were absolutely horrid. Larkin got a clean breakaway AND a penalty shot after the fact.

Penalties were 7-2. We did not play that bad.

Look at this video of the ref yelling back at Savard after the second. He sounds like a toddler who's about to cry. Sums it all up really.

That game last night, are you kidding me with Kaiden Guhle! this kid is improving by leaps and bounds, he is making or trying offensive & defensive moves that all star #1 D attempt.
Kids a beauty.

Nice, I'll be in town for the weekend to watch the Pens on Saturday night. First game since pre-covid.

Hopefully he can step up and be a good energy player. I really think Pezz could be a Ryan White type for us.

I think part of the problem with Pezz is he popped a few goals. Then forgot what it was that got him to the NHL. He's got a touch of the "crazy" like White had. So I can definitely see him become that for us.

Canucks team D is horrible but their offense is good. I expect this game to be lots of goals. Caufield is likely to score.

They gave him an in person hearing by the sounds of it.

I don't know the answer. Maybe I shouldn't have assumed.

I just remember when they give phone hearings it's usually stated in the release.

Dave Poulin was saying he didn't expect any additional disciplinary action on that hit. It wasn't like Anderson who clearly chased Petro down before nailing him.

I've been twice so far this season and had a blast both times. Winning helped but it was much more than that. Just a better overall experience.
