I don't think so. Backups play in the easier game. A backup's save percentage should rival the starters. Backups are backups because they don't have the endurance/consistency to be great most of the time. A backup should have a serviceable game the majority of the time at the very least.
They won more games than the lost, not really sure what else you want from a good backup. Raycroft played like a starter when Kari was injured even.
I don't have a problem with Roussel doing what he did, Stalock was way out of net.
