Didn't get to see this one, but glad for the win. Good on Monty for benching Pasta. He's starting to hold the team leaders accountable for sub-par performance. First Marchand, now Pasta. You wear a letter, you need to be better.
But I found this
quote from McAvoy a little disturbing:
McAvoy added: “Brad (Marchand’s) big on that. He sort of has that old-school mentality about accoutablilty [sic] and players holding each other accountable. … He’s big on players holding each other accountable, coaches holding players accountable. That’s the only way to kind of breathe this winning culture, and how we’re going to have success.”
If accountability is an "old-school mentality," it concerns me about what that might say about the mentality of some of these younger players.
