Had to help a buddy retrieve his car. Was the game worth watching or was it pain? Just watch the highlights?
You made the right choice. Highlights are sufficient.

Pre-game Pav and Larkins goal. Highlights, plural, but just barely. You made the right choice. Highlights are sufficient.
Fester won't make changes until they lose a couple in a row. Husso will make sure that happens, lol.Agreed. After this game I would swap Kane with Raymond, Copp with Kasper.
Debrincat Larkin Raymond
Compher Kasper Kane
Total bums
You can't send him down, he improved team. It will be bad massage, but yes , let him play with Raymond and see what will happenFester won't make changes until they lose a couple in a row. Husso will make sure that happens, lol.
As much as I keep saying Kasper needs to be sent down, I also think it'll be good for him to play with a legit top 6 winger. Let him play with Ray, and if he can't get the puck to Ray then send him down.
He needs to work on his offense and that's not gonna happen by taking one or two shots a game in the NHL. At 10% shooting that'll be a dozen goals, right now he's putting up the big zero. Develop him as a NHL bottom 6, and we get another Veleno/Raz type player. You can't send him down, he improved team. I tend to agree. His overall game is NHL ready, bar his offense. I would give him another year in the AHL to develop that.He needs to work on his offense and that's not gonna happen by taking one or two shots a game in the NHL. Lalonde is using Kasper line like second line and Berggren and Kasper reason why. That's why I don't believe Kasper will be send down on. I always thought about Lombardi and Kasper on the same line is a good thing. So instead of sending Kasper down , bring Lombardi up. Yzerman needs to make trade and free up some spaceHe needs to work on his offense and that's not gonna happen by taking one or two shots a game in the NHL. I would like Newsy to give him 8-9 games with JB and Ray, then maybe send him him down with the sole goal of developing offense in the AHL, it is better to do it now than do it next year when they were probably looking at adding some others to the mix.He needs to work on his offense and that's not gonna happen by taking one or two shots a game in the NHL. The criticism of Kasper's offensive shortcomings is a joke, right? He does more to advance possession and create chances than at least half a dozen other forwards. His back-pass to Berggren in front of the net was one of the better and most creative plays of the game by any forward. He's always moving the puck quickly, either by hiimself or makng a routine but good pass. The only area where he is probably not ready is in his preparedness to shoot. He goes to the right places, but he seems a little surprised when the puck finds him and doesn't do a lot with the rare opportunity he gets.

The kids in that draft class are either struggling to score in the NHL (Wright/Gauthier/Geekie) or putting up points in the AHL (Nazar/Lekkermaki/Kemel). I'd rather have Kasper putting up points in the AHL than playing 3rd line in the NHL and not scoring.
He can move the puck and pass, that's why he should either be on the second line or sent down. No matter how well he plays, if he's not putting up points then it means he's just killing time out there which is what Joey/Raz/Copp/Fischer do. It's not what you want to develop a top ten pick into.
As for shooting, he's bound to get 3 or 4x more shooting opportunity in the AHL playing top line and PP1. Not to mention more PP practice time. Everyone likes to use late bloomers as examples, but they're the exception not the rule. Kasper needs the development now or he's gonna become a slightly slower Helm with better passing.
