I do not care if/when we lose.

I care when it looks like half the team doesn't give a shit

Forget the poor coaching... that's a different aspect
It’s concerning when the metro is tough and every team around them have been playing well. The Rangers came into this season with fairly high expectations. They aren't playing up to their talent. Hopefully this is just early season adjusting and they get their head out of their asses.

Gallant isn't getting fired this year unless he is caught with pics of Drury's feet or something. It Ain't Happening.

We were much, much worse last regular season.

Hell, we played like boiled crotch against Pittsburgh.

The showing against Carolina and the first two against Tampa created some short memories.
See I don't know if I necessarily agree with that. I know that the fancy stats say that, but even watching the games the team would be in survival mode 5 on 5 and then would just dominate special teams. Right now even five on five we just look okay. There's been a couple anomalies where we've looked really good but the overwhelming majority of the play when you watch it is just okay. Then mix in the fact that the power play looks like a little bit of a mess right now and we don't have the elite goaltending that we did last year and this team looks exceptionally average. Like are we actually happy that we're just tied going to the third period against the Red wings? Unfortunately that's kind of the situation that the fan base has been pushed into because of the lackluster starts the season where we're looking at moral victories now instead of the expectation that this team would be able to dominate the team like the Red wings. Not even just dominate them on the scoreboard, but be able to dominate the actual gameplay. Other than maybe Tampa in the opener who is this team actually just gone out and completely dominated during a game? Who have they looked assertive against and actually looked like a team that you would expect to challenge for Stanley cup? I'm not okay with what this team is right now, sitting there and saying " we're not losing " is not good enough

Remember when this team was down 3-1 and had just lost 7-2? And I sat here and said this team was winning three in a row? And then they did?

We're already back to "we would be better if the team cared."

That's the problem. You're paying attention to PP and goaltending which just run hot and cold for no reason.

That's why "fancy stats" people pay attention to even strength.

When the PP heats up and Igor stops being replacement level, we're gonna look real good.

Panarin moved up with Zibanejad and Kakko in the hopes Kakko can get him going.
It's so ridiculous that we're looking at players making $2 million dollars to constantly get the other chunk of the roster that's making 40% of our cap going. It's completely ass backwards
