Mitchell is a soon to be 36 year old with a bad knee and a history of concussions. If our team relies so heavily on Mitchell, the odds are that we are screwed

That would be a good bet. Cause the Kings record without him. Is really bad.

So bad I won't even post it.

wow - this is one sad, sad team. They got nothing. they have had maybe had 1 or 2 good scoring chances thru half a game.

They're making the blkhwks look much better than they are.

THIS TEAM is the Stanley Cup Champion?!? :shakehead wow.

They haven't lost a single game in regulation. The Kings aren't making the Blackhawks look better than they are, the Blackhawks ARE a better team than them and the best team in the league.

This Hawks team could set a new record, I don't see any team beating them for a bit.

The Hawks would have to take a game off.

I wish MR would score a shortie. That was one of the most fun aspects of watching his games in philly

Not the same player that was in Philly.

Good third line center, smart player, capable of playing in all situations, but not the game breaker he was in Philly.

Brown needs to do some hunting, he needs to make a big hit or something. Maybe he can smash a player into next season maybe that will change the game.

Edit. I'm starting to think that brown isn't gonna hit anymore, maybe the amount of targeting in the playoffs on him made him scared to throw big hits.

I wish he took his job more seriously during the summer. Coming into the season not in shape and is inexcusable. Wouldn't mind seeing him traded for someone who cares.

Even Pitt couldn't repeat with Crosby & Malkin. That should tell you something...

Today's star players don't have the same thirst/hunger for the cup or the same hate for the opponent as they used to.

Parity has to do with it but I'd say this has to do more. Chicago and Pittsburgh lost quite a few players but Boston and LA didn't.
