Other than when we played the Sens I don't know him that well. I saw him play a couple junior games with the Oshawa Generals too. Just wondering if they plan to use him or not with Simmonds, Thornton and Robertson out
I just looked it up, the Leafs did not win a single game against Vancouver between 2006 and 2013. They finally broke the streak February 8, 2014.
That didn't even occur to me, nice catch

There’s no way Vancouver can play as bad as they have the first two games. Surely they have a little pride.
They could at least try. They may not have talent but their lack of effort is noticeable.
If they’re too tired then the league needs to rethink this schedule or allow an expanded roster.
I don’t understand why they couldn’t go with 48 game schedule like the lockout shortened season in 2013? Why did they feel the need to cram so many games in so little time? Especially with the pandemic going on. I don’t get it.
Simmonds is a lacklustre 5v5 player that can punch real gud and play a physical brand of hockey on a bit of a PP hotstreak. The benefits he provides make him a unique asset on the team and until we see better 5v5 players provide this pugnacity, he should continue playing controlled minutes for the team. This brand of player also seem to thrive in the playoffs, and being a hometown guy doesn't hurt either.
The answer is always money.
Engvall still sitting out is questionable to say the least.
Same thing happened to me - I was at like 143,000 most of it by betting on Leaf wins. Now I am back to 50,000 - no idea why.Hey what kind of Casino are they running here. I had 187,000 something SB cash yesterday, I see its back to 50,000 today. Sheesh
