I think the bad and awful comments are born out of expectation. He hasn't been awful but people were expecting him to be more then just okay coming into this tournament so he ends up under a bigger microscope for being average then the player that was expected to be the 7 D instead of the 1D.

When I watch Bouchard this tournament I can’t help but think of Ryan Murphy

Bouchard's "bad" play is overblown, I didn't expect the prospect battle for this year's team to be Oilers vs Devils.

2. You implied that the reason Canada was winning was because of embellishment, and clearly multiple people took it that way.
3. None of the plays you complained about as embellishment directly lead to goals, so your point is moot.

If correcting someone on their grammar is necessary to prove your point, then I think your point is moot. Irregardless is a word just like regardless or irrespective, so I don't see a reason why one shouldn't use it. Just because it's not your preferred word, it doesn't make it wrong.

2. We had some good powerplay pressure for a minute with our Big 3 and then Varada put on second unit, is there some contract they signed stating they can't be together for more than 30 seconds? I hate these lines.
3. I haven't noticed Salda (good or bad) but Jenik has been great. That is now 4 guys I'd like to see surround our AHL guys - Jenik, Kondelik, Lauko and Pekar. We have 4 good options and are using none of them consistently

4. for those that didn't like my beat us with skill comment.. you missed the second part. I never once, anywhere, have said I thought the Czechs would win. Zero argument that Canada is stronger and better. Hence my point that they don't need to dive and embellish to beat us. They could actually just do it cleanly. It'd be 4-1 irregardless because Canada has 4 deep lines and about 50 other guys that never got picked.

Comtois is an embarrassment. That garbage needs be out of the game, and every Canadian knows it.... provided it isn’t someone playing for Team Canada doing it. When Comtois has any other jersey on everyone will agree.

Canada looks great, otherwise.

Gaining confidence, he has had a lot of room in the offensive zone to generate offense. He looks boring in the defensive zone, AKA good.

Ehhh, it's commonly accepted as incorrect in modern English because it's redundant with regardless. It's still an easy mistake to make but regardless is the proper word to use.
