Smith has missed one breakout pass this entire game, this is been a clinic in the defensive zone.

I am going to add a wrinkle to your comment about his skating. To my eyes Smith can skate with some zip but he has to churn his legs to do so. He prefers to glide if he can get away with it. I expect a pro skating coach can improve his form amd make it a bit easier to skate with speed.

Biggest game of the round robin for the Czech's and their top players have been terrible tonight, hope for them they figure it out before elimination games start.

Not a fan of the reffing here. You can’t tell me MacIsaac didn’t deserve a 2 and 10 for his jumping headshot....or for his boarding from behind in the second.

It’s reffing like this that gives everyone else ammo to make claims we get reffing biased in our favour etc.

They would make that claim if we never got a p.p all tournament. Missed call or bogus calls happen to and for everyone, you would have to not be actuallly watching games to miss it.


But Canada is going to get called out for it because its Canada, same as it is for everything else such as us being meanies for pounding the danes so bad.
