These are all Ducharme level decisions. Eddy and Arber played great together - break them up!!!! Why give rookie a good partner?
I preferred the Bash Bros. pairing with X and Edmundson as it gave Arber a partner who he could learn from, since their styles are similar.
However, it doesn’t mean they won’t get back together, it’s just one game, MSL is just shaking things up.
Agreed with his decision to sit Kovacevic — he just didn’t have it against his prior team. Hopefully being sat, jolts him.
I don't see a perfect fit with Harris, outside of having veteran player on his side. I thought that Edmundson was a better pairing for Arber for obvious reasons. However, nothing says what it'll be for the longer term, we'll find out soon enough.Harris is a rookie too and he plays a bigger role and way more minutes then Arber. It's more important to surround Harris with Edmundson and it's a better fit. Harris will have the possibility to support more the offence too.
Kovacevic will be a healthy scratch. Wideman will come back into the line-up and be paired with Xhekaj. Harris will be on the right of Edmundson.
Also, Hoffman comes back into the line-up and Pitlick will be a healthy scratch.
Perfect time to scratch Kovasevic honestly
Dipped his feet , got a good swim in, now it's time to take a lil step back and recalibrate a bit
What's the longest we've had a line stick together in the last 5 years? Like 10 games? They've been together since Vegas's first season. Yeah, it's always been a good line.
Hoffman is cashing cheques and not much else. He is the ultimate tank weapon.Hoffman is in for Pitlick no?
Frankly, Arber and Guhle are being cut off at the knees, saddled with carrying defensemen who, even in their prime, were sub-standard; at this juncture, they have nothing to gain by playing alongside boat anchors like Edmundson and Savard. It's a blessing to be away from them, but if either player could be carried by a rookie, Harris is the one to do so.These are all Ducharme level decisions. ... because after the 10 first minutes you are doing what your avatar do, lol.The first 10 minutes will determine whether or not the Knights spent last night in their hotel rooms or somewhere else. I have no prediction until I see the first 10 minutes.
RDSCan you add a link so people don't think your talking out your bum here?
Where is this coming from?
Savard’s been great so far this year, and Edmundson is a solid 3-4 D, and is big and mean. Not sure how being the most used rookie in the league or making a direct jump from junior to the nhl line up as an undrafted player can be considered “being cut off at the knee”?Frankly, Arber and Guhle are being cut off at the knees, saddled with carrying defensemen who, even in their prime, were sub-standard; at this juncture, they have nothing to gain by playing alongside boat anchors like Edmundson and Savard. Furk just realized X is already away from Ed… Maybe they want X with Matheson when he comes back… oh well.
I remember years ago going to a game in Montreal and my friends Pierre Gervais and Bobby Boulanger allowed us into the locker room after the game. My brother in law who lives in Montreal couldn't believe that someone who was American had that much influence. After the game he says...."its my turn" and took me to Chez Paree....that was one hell of a party.... because after the 10 first minutes you are doing what your avatar do, lol.
Pitlick is a big zero this year. Hoffman has not been good, but still creating more than Pitlick. These are all Ducharme level decisions. Eddy and Arber played great together - break them up!!!! Why give rookie a good partner?
Opposite sides for Eddy and Harris (Harris on the right)Hoffman/Monahan/Drouin......outch! 100% ozone starts for those boys.
Eddy playing RD to Harris could be interesting. MSL probably wants to see how Eddy plays there.
Slaf/Evans/Armia should be interesting too.
Otherwise on D eventuallyYeah I think they’re making experiments to see who would play where (on D) when Matheson is back.
If the rookies keep it up Savard or Edmunson could move at the TDL. I think even Barron is not as untouchable as before since Kovacevic is a good stop gap for now.
