I’d like to see some dramatic changes.

We’ve been the same team for quite a while, not getting better, just older.

Honestly, there’s no untouchables. If you want to say Laf, Fox and Shesty are the core, I’m fine with it. I wouldn’t lose sleep over any of them playing elsewhere though. Wanna keep Kreider as the veteran presence? Fine as well. But I’m horribly bored of seeing this same group year after year. Bread could put up 140 pts this year and it wouldn’t make me like him an ounce more… I’m just done with him. Done with Zib. Done with KK. Done with Trouba. Done with virtually all of them.

Partially, I just wonder if the Rangers can ever truly have the fortitude and work ethic to get there in modern times. We’ve had more than enough talent; that’s not the issue, but I don’t know of a pampered NYC team that will ever get it done, regardless of who plays here.

Agree, I'd much rather see radical changes at this point. As long as quality is traded for different quality.

Not sure about the pampered bit though. How are they more pampered than the Panthers (or most teams that arent in much snaller areas)? If anything doesn't Florida have more country clubs?

We can all rightfully get on Drury for running back the same team that isn’t good enough but let’s be honest his hands were tied in the summer when Mr and Mrs Trouba refused to relocate to 8 Mile. Who knows what Drury’s off season plans were going to be post Trouba.
I've said all along we won't see any significant player movement until Drury is able to get rid of some of those contracts. Once that happens, I can see drastic changes being made.

I don't, I wouldn't be surprised if the team is sick. It's weird for everyone to be dead on skates on the same night. Usually someone will have some life.

This org knows it's f***ed without Igor. People keep saying you need that money to spend on another player but I challenge them that nyr haven't been able to do it for 4+ years with Igor at less than 6m anyways. He's the one that can carry the team and it's been proven over multiple playoff runs where the team relied on goaltending to get to deep.

If Igor is tanking for contract reasons that makes him a cancer in the room. No one has ever even hinted at that with him.

The cancer in the room is not Igor I assure you.

Lindgren and Miller are not championship winning defenseman either. Trouba hasn’t been a disaster so far and can be dealt with in the offseason as long as they can dump 55 & 79.

Yeah but do we trust Chief Drury to have the competence to actually pull those moves off and improve the team? There's a reason they (the Rangers FO) just roll along in their comfort zone year after year.
