Not at all. I also believe that’s what he’s doing, but I’ve been called a conspiracy theorist before
I don't, I wouldn't be surprised if the team is sick. It's weird for everyone to be dead on skates on the same night. Usually someone will have some life.

This org knows it's f***ed without Igor. People keep saying you need that money to spend on another player but I challenge them that nyr haven't been able to do it for 4+ years with Igor at less than 6m anyways. He's the one that can carry the team and it's been proven over multiple playoff runs where the team relied on goaltending to get to deep.

If Igor is tanking for contract reasons that makes him a cancer in the room. No one has ever even hinted at that with him.

If Armaggedon's ending was reworked and the oil workers couldn't blast 800 feet into the asteroid, thereby letting it hit Earth and wiping everything out, watching that would still be more fun than this.

The defense has been awful this year, and has especially been bad since the return of Lindgren.

They also look so collectively slow and weak. Just nothing happening at all.

Shesterkin with an awful game too.

They're not sick. If anything they had too much time off in NY to hit the city with their WAGS and think about early xmas shopping and stuff their faces with bagels and waffles.

That would be fun to watch anyway. Michael Bay death of Earth explosions would be a great time!

I told you Ruff would wake them up. 4-0 period seems about right to play against a team fresh off from a 3 night binge at the clubs...

the defense is shit and the new lines have absolutely no chemistry but something else feels really off. i actually wonder if half the team has the flu or something.

I’d like to see some dramatic changes.

We’ve been the same team for quite a while, not getting better, just older.

Honestly, there’s no untouchables. If you want to say Laf, Fox and Shesty are the core, I’m fine with it. I wouldn’t lose sleep over any of them playing elsewhere though. Wanna keep Kreider as the veteran presence? Fine as well. But I’m horribly bored of seeing this same group year after year. Bread could put up 140 pts this year and it wouldn’t make me like him an ounce more… I’m just done with him. Done with Zib. Done with KK. Done with Trouba. Done with virtually all of them.

Partially, I just wonder if the Rangers can ever truly have the fortitude and work ethic to get there in modern times. We’ve had more than enough talent; that’s not the issue, but I don’t know of a pampered NYC team that will ever get it done, regardless of who plays here.

We can all rightfully get on Drury for running back the same team that isn’t good enough but let’s be honest his hands were tied in the summer when Mr and Mrs Trouba refused to relocate to 8 Mile. Who knows what Drury’s off season plans were going to be post Trouba.
