Yeah and if the queen had balls she'd be the king
Major you are really an apologist tonight. We;re down 4-1 shoulda, coulda, woulda, we've sucked. End of story.
And have we quit forechecking? I haven't seen much of it tonight. Or since the Dubi hit.
So...Bob hasn't been good, but is anyone serious suggesting that the reigning Vezina winner is a lost cause after 12 games?
Turnovers happen to every team all the time. The Penguins have turned it over more than us tonight. Our puck control has actually never been better.
Quiter
Not sure what lost cause is.... no he is not a lost cause, he's just not been what he was during our near playoff run last season... Perhaps the CBJ actually sucked last season too and Bob masked it? Who knows, but this I do know... we need better defense and goaltending to advance in the coming weeks...
Oh, scoring too... lol
Really? Booing? Wow Pittsburgh...
Really? Booing? Wow Pittsburgh...
Bob was slow to get going in the KHL last year, and ended with a .932. Then he was slow to get going for the Jackets last year, and ended with a .932. This year he's slow to get going for the Jackets....
I hope you're being sarcastic. What else would you expect? What would happen in the Nat?
Coaches can't turn pluggers into snipers. All they can do is get the players to work hard and play smart, and we're doing that. Based on the quality of our effort I'd sooner give Richards an extension than let him go.
There are other things a coach does system wise that can improve a team, but I understand your point. Richards has done a quality job with the most important parts of coaching, however a Stanley cup winning coach is likely not to be available for long, and if there is any chance of replacing the coach in the near future Laviolette is a pretty good option.
