Dude we get it, you hate Skinner.

You use to complain he would never steal a game. Now that he has done so a time or 2, you moved the goal posts to "only like 5 times a year"

If you have a low opinion of him, that's fine. It just gets old to keep reading that same posts of "well he just sucks" over and over again without anything constructive or anything to add to any conversation.
If your sick of reading the same type of posts game after game might want to change to the Professional Bowling Tour thread instead.

It’s the same here because the mistakes, errors and player actions are often the same. Maybe that’s what posters are frustrated about.

I expect we’ll see some guys start getting going soon. An injury to your best player is never good but silver lining it provides an opportunity for others to step up contribute and gain some confidence in their games. S% will normalize and pucks will start going in the net, but in a weird way 97 being out could be a catalyst for the scoring to pick up.

Hyman looked a lot more comfortable last game. It’s not easy playing with McDavid, having to play with and read off of the pace, creativity and chaos of his style and game. Both Hyman and RNH are very smart, hard working players who can skate well so they can adapt but I think both might benefit from playing a little more simple, conventional style of game right now.

No pregame meal today I think last few times I actually prepared for games they didnt show up, and the flames surprised me by dunking on Markstrom and Vladar getting a shutout. I do not need godly Vladar tonight, I will not even really think about it and just watch the game and complain if they suck lol

Let's see if the effort and drive from last game continues tonight. My prediction: Over. 500 tonight and never look back.

Game 2 of the Flamers Stanley Cup playoffs this season. Come out fast with energy and a hard game. Skinner's had some good games in Cowtown. Time for him to step up. Keep tilting ice and converting x-goals into the real stuff.

Redeem the embarrassing home loss. f*** Calgary!

How can Skinner earn his starts if he's not....starting.

I know that he's been poor this season but the comments about how bad of a goalie he is are so hyperbolic that it makes my head hurt. He was their #1 goalie the last 2 seasons and in the Cup run and had plenty of good games mixed in with, yes, some bad ones over the last 2 seasons yet everybody here acts like he's some bum who has never done any good, it's ridiculous.
Again, he's been poor this season for the most part and deserves criticism for that and the comments about his lack of athleticism are justified, but the "not an NHL goalie" comments etc. are absurd IMO.
Couldnt agree more.
This place sometimes. :help:
