I expect we’ll see some guys start getting going soon. An injury to your best player is never good but silver lining it provides an opportunity for others to step up contribute and gain some confidence in their games. S% will normalize and pucks will start going in the net, but in a weird way 97 being out could be a catalyst for the scoring to pick up.
Hyman looked a lot more comfortable last game. It’s not easy playing with McDavid, having to play with and read off of the pace, creativity and chaos of his style and game. Both Hyman and RNH are very smart, hard working players who can skate well so they can adapt but I think both might benefit from playing a little more simple, conventional style of game right now.
