People just love vintage. I also hate the flyers jerseys with the white tape on the back. I liked their jerseys in the late 90s/00s — especially that orange with the glowing logo in 2003 or so.

For me, the worst collection of jerseys belongs to the Flyers or Buffalo, with that atrocious logo. Much preferred the clean logo from 2007 or thereabouts (though I know many “purists” disliked those). Would also love to go back to the Canucks colors of the Naslund era.

This is probably not just Rangers management but it's very much still a league that values #toffness. And that's what they thought Schneider had. And it was important because the team that won the cup that year had #toffness or something.
