Yeah, he has those shifts where he's Jagr but for every one of those, there's 9 or 10 where he gives the puck away because somebody breathed towards him.

The problem is he never makes a play even when he hangs on to the puck. He circles the perimeter and maybe passes it to the point.

It’s the epitome of empty possession, when he even maintains possession of the puck. But he’s an extremely limited offensive player at the NHL level. I know Kane has half a hip and doesn’t try to play defense but Id rather watch him with the puck in the offensive zone on the rare occasion he has the puck in the offensive zone.
