Tonight they looked good. Does this spark a goaltending controversy though? I doubt it since it was actually good D, coupled with a sputtering Blues team that lead to the win.
No matter what, the Kings finally won and held a lead the entire game.
Carter and Voynov are beasts.
i always feel bad for penner when i see him in interviews.
Penner played awesome. I hope he can keep that up and stay in the lineup because he's a great person. I don't think his struggles so far this year were for a lack of trying; he's probably been up in his own head too much because he knows what's riding on this season for him personally.^ +1, he's such a nice guy.
Penner with an assist and +1. Dare I say he played with... passion?

I'm amazed you thought Penner played poorly. He was moving his feet, out muscling people below the goal line, and making safe plays with the puck. I don't think he made one "bad" play.I thought Penner was pretty bad, despite the assist. However, I still want him to play to let him get his confidence back.
Either Anson Carter and Patrick O'Neal are reaaaaally tall or Daryl Evans is a midget.
No, but it may improve Bernier's trade value somewhere down the line.
I can think of 3 or 4 teams that could use him immediately.
All this Ellerby being a top pair guy / Mitchell replacement is a little silly.
I've atched him since he came up and trust me guys you are in for some rollercoaster type emotions with this kid. With that said I've always enjoyed watching him play but in the end, imHo, he is a serviceable 4 and a great 5-6

Voynov was amazing tonight. I knew the kid was good, but... WOW.
Penner is just a large, lumbering individual. I don't he's ever going to look like he's in amazing shape because he has such big, long strides. He played a good game but still does not seem in good shape.
Might have something to do with the fact that he had a Blue and a King standing right in front of him...um i noticed the goal bernier gave up was from the point again Im wondering if maybe jb has eye issues ? As a fan im not sure does the phyical at the beginning of the year do eye tests ? Otherwise happy king fan seeing ellerby play 20mins and clifford up with carter on the 2nd line. I would love to see jb play another game in a row The kings proberly wouldnt do that sadly,
