The six weeks thing is false. The tweet that originated from was actually referring to an injury suffered by the person who tweeted it, not Martinez.

He could very well end up on IR, but there has been NO announcement yet. Even then, there has been no word on how long he is expected to be out. Could it end up at six weeks? Sure. Anything is possible. But as of right now, six weeks isn't anymore likely than one week.

It's almost got to be longer than one week if IR is where he ends up... I think the minimum time a player can be on IR is 7 days (old CBA, not sure if there are new rules) so if A-Mart heads to IR you can be sure it'd be about 10 days probably more.

So assumming A-Mart is out what are we thinking the pairings are?

Scuderi/Doughty?
Drewiske/Voinov?
Ellerby/Muzzin?

Craig Button is a total homer, consistently unprofessional in his clear biases, and very rarely taken seriously. He hates the Kings, for whatever reason, said the Carter trade was terrible, thought the Kings would get swept in the first round against the Canucks, and was nowhere to be found during the SCF.

Guy isn't very bright, hence his quick burnout trying to run hockey clubs.

I wouldn't put Ellerby with Muzzin, I want to keep the kids confidence high and keep him with Doughty.

Yeah, but that was written after the Kings went up 2-0 in the finals. Now, if that was written after the Blues series, than yeah I could see giving him some credit. But, when the Kings are only 2 wins away from winning the Cup? Yeah, not so much.
