You still have to out play the guys at the other end... and he hasn't. Last 3 playoff series we've out shot our opponent.

I’ve never had a problem with petan in the lineup other than maybe taking spots from other guys that I’d like to see, but definitely making a case in this one to get another shot sooner rather than later

L2 - pretty ineffective
L3 - bad
L4 - pretty good

I think the middle 6 is this teams biggest problem. I miss Jumbo Joe now. When healthy at this point:

Thornton-Matthews-Marner
Robertson-Tavares-Nylander
Mikheyev-Kerfoot-Hyman
x-Spezza-Simmonds

x can be any of Boyd/Vesey/Anderson/Engvall/Petan, it doesn't matter.

I think we miss AJ and Kapanen
