couple of good shifts from jt-willy duo. still wanna see more but good.

They've been pretty lackluster but hopefully, they get it together. Nylander still hasn't looked like the Nylander from the first 3 games to me and JT looks slow 90% of the time. Hopefully, something clicks.

Bogosian looks so much better than Ceci did its crazy. I thought they'd be similar level players. Bogosian can carry/move the puck much better

I honestly completely forgot Vesey was even in this game. I'm not sure how he'll stay in the lineup with these kind of performances with Robertson and Thornton back soonish.

I wouldn’t mind seeing what Spezza could do with Nylander on the 2nd line.

Thats a bit too much to ask of him imho. Hes doing awesome in his little niche. 4th line and 2nd PP. Lets not break something for no reason. He doesnt have the speed to keep up with the 2nd line anymore

L2 - pretty ineffective
L3 - bad
L4 - pretty good

I think the middle 6 is this teams biggest problem. I miss Jumbo Joe now. When healthy at this point:

Thornton-Matthews-Marner
Robertson-Tavares-Nylander
Mikheyev-Kerfoot-Hyman
x-Spezza-Simmonds

x can be any of Boyd/Vesey/Anderson/Engvall/Petan, it doesn't matter.

I think we miss AJ and Kapanen

I think the 3rd line has been buzzing. All those guys just need to get the money off their back.

Spezza’s goal was reminiscent of the guy we used to play against. I’m just joining the game now after listening to the sports net radio feed for the first and the beginning of the second and I have to ask... are they always that terrible? The announcers blabbered about baseball during Matthew’s goal and I always felt like it was hard to get an idea of what was happening.
