You know damn well if a Leaf did that to "the next great one", hed get ejected and suspended. Why do you think the Leafs didnt take the guy out on the Canucks goal? Scared of their own shadow theyll get penalties now IMO.

It’s a 5 if they are down in the game, and 2 if they are up. Unfortunately the leafs had already 2 PP that period, and 3 penalties called if you count the AM goal. I still donno how you can’t call that a 2. You can see the one ref looking like “ugh man, I don’t wanna be the guy who gives them ANOTHER PP”. But you have to call that. Every call has been right so far except that non call

he even started to raise his hand instinctively then stopped himself because he realized the powerplays were 2-0 leafs. there's no way this isn't mandated from on high

Disappointed the Leafs didn't come out hard and just bury them, they are leaving the door open which will only make this 1 or 2 bounces away from a dumpster fire.

Never. They all Tow company line. They choose league over player safety.
 
I wonder, are the Canadian refs just not good at their jobs? It's not even about consistency this season, it's just a lot of bad calls.

Compare this to the Philly-Boston game where Boston got 3 PP's in the last8 minutes of the game. It's no conspiracy at this point, it's a rigged league.
 
got to admit the look on the linesman's face when he realized there was not going to be a call was priceless.
 
Kerfoot shouldve sold it and stayed down on the ice more. Only way to get these incompetent refs to call it

Someone please answer this.

Is it me or we always look a tad slower on home ice but one of the fastest teams out West? I love noticed a considerable difference in the quality of ice out West versus our home arena.

May have to do with the dual use of the acc/scotia bank arena with the raptors

Don't think we gave up a single scoring chance that period....even though Freddy somehow managed to make it look like they had 4 or 5.

Should be 3-0.

And how the hell was that not a penalty. Game misconduct too.​
